Victorian Town House

A walled town garden for home working professionals and family.

Like many town gardens, this modest space had to fulfil multiple roles; family garden, access to work studio, entertaining area and place to unwind amongst beautiful, romantic planting.

We kept the hard landscaping palette simple by using honey-coloured York stone, and explored texture by contrasting sawn and tumbled versions in the terrace and pathway, connecting the new, glass panelled kitchen to sleek, wooden office.

Featuring lush woodland-edge plants such as cow parsley & foxgloves, creating a pleasing abundance against the crisp hard detailing.
