This was a new one on me. An artist who works - in amongst other things - in restoring stone boulders to their rightful beauty. 

Our Rotherham sandstone boulders, delivered from Cadeby quarry and transported to the show ground, had inevitable dirt, paint marks etc that detracted from the natural elegance of the boulder and associated mosses.

Taking a day per boulder, Amanda works with an artist's dedication and patience, and an array of super-soft brushes plus an acute understanding of natural paint tones. Our boulders now look magnificent with aspect-appropriate colour gradations like they’ve always been there….. just as we intended.
