Set in a stunning lakeside location, this modern barn conversion elicited a suitably bold and contemporary landscape design response.

A new swimming pool with a bespoke, handmade rolling wooden cover formed the centrepiece of our design. Set within rhythmic perennial planting & partially enclosed lawns, the garden enjoys long views to the wildlife lake beyond whilst providing a sense of privacy and enclosure.

Intentionally merging the garden into the wider landscape we used untreated estate fencing to the boundary, softening the transition from modern house and garden into the surrounding countryside.
