In deference to the setting, the home and guest house are clad in black corrugated metal, a choice that tempers the buildings’ presence, allowing the textures of meadow and ridge to remain the focus. The material’s subtle wave adds a quiet rhythm to the façade, while exposed rafters and expansive glass openings soften the structure, framing views to the meadow and ridge from within.
