NORTHAMPTONSHIRE
AUTUMN
Gardens are all about the turning of the seasons, and autumn feels the most profound of all.
It marks the completion of nature’s spring and summer abundance — blossoms and fruits giving way to the scent of ripe windfalls and spider webs covered with morning dew. A final, generous riot of colour before winter’s dormancy. The wheel turns once more.
At the Cart House, we wanted to capture the moody, misty reality of a lived in garden; one that feels familiar and real.
Below, my favourite Haiku sums it up!
